Eligibility

  • If you are a female national of Maldives or a female non-citizen resident over the age of 18 years holding a valid work permit and a letter from the employer confirming your employment, you are eligible to open a Women’s Savings Account. All you need is to make a minimum deposit of MVR 500 or USD 50.

Opening an account

  • Please remember to take your identity document or passport with valid work permit (only for non-citizen residents). This is important for us to identify you and ensure your account’s security.
  • Apart from cash deposits, you can also deposit cheques, drafts which are drawn in favour of your name or the Bank.
  • Fast, convenient and 24 x 7 unlimited access points to your account from anywhere in the world through Online Banking & Mobile Banking or through our ATMs.

Making Withdrawals

  • You can make withdrawals from ATM card or over the Bank counter. Please produce your identity document with the duly completed withdrawal form, when making over the counter withdrawals.
