Eligibility

  • If you are a citizen of Maldives or a non-citizen resident holding a valid work permit and over 65 years of age, you are eligible to open a Senior Citizen’s Account.

Opening an Account

  • Please remember to take your identity document or Passport with valid work permit (only for non citizen residents). This is important for us to identify you and ensure your account’s security.
  • You will receive a statement of transactions monthly or as decided when the account was opened. Please verify these transactions and notify the Bank of any discrepancy without delay.

Withdrawals

  • You can make withdrawals from any ATM card or over the bank counter. Please produce your identity document with the duly completed withdrawal form when making over the counter withdrawals.
