Documentary Collection is a method of payment used by both the buyer and seller in international trade.
The exporter ships the goods and submits shipping documents to importers bank with their instructions to release documents to the importer against payment (DP Terms) or acceptance (DA Terms).
This method is commonly used where both parties require a simplified transaction than the Letter of Credit.
